Ajax Alarm Kit 1 is a compact wireless starter system for protecting a house, flat, office or other small property. At its centre is the Ajax Hub 2, which coordinates every connected device, sends alarms and system events to authorised users through the Ajax apps, and can communicate with a monitoring company. Hub 2 supports up to 100 compatible Ajax devices, allowing this starter package to grow as additional rooms, doors or risks need protection. The included MotionProtect detector monitors an indoor area for movement at distances of up to 12 metres and is designed to ignore pets when correctly installed and configured. DoorProtect provides immediate opening detection for a protected door or window. SpaceControl gives the user convenient arm, disarm and Night Mode buttons together with a dedicated panic function, while HomeSiren provides an adjustable indoor audible warning when an alarm is triggered. This white kit offers the essentials needed for a straightforward perimeter and internal security system without requiring cables between the devices. Ajax’s encrypted Jeweller radio communication, app-based configuration, tamper monitoring and fast event delivery support dependable everyday operation. Professional placement and commissioning are recommended to confirm radio coverage, detector positioning and the correct response settings for the premises.
