Ajax SoloButton Dimmer White is the white touch-sensitive front panel created for the Ajax LightSwitch Dimmer. It provides intuitive local control of compatible dimmable lighting and completes the visible finish of a standalone dimmer switch. Used with the correct LightCore, the touch surface lets the user switch the light and adjust brightness from the wall.
This listing is for the SoloButton panel only and does not include the dimmer relay. It must be paired with Ajax LightCore Dimmer, SKU 91248, before it can control a lamp. A separate frame is not required for one standalone dimmer. If a compatible LED lamp flickers, fails to switch on reliably or presents too little load, Ajax Bypass for LightSwitch Dimmer, SKU 98614, may also be required; the electrician should determine this during installation. The bypass is not automatically needed for every dimmer setup.
The completed dimmer can be controlled locally. A compatible Ajax hub is required for app-based brightness control, schedules, timers and automation scenarios. Dimming performance depends on the lamp and driver, so compatibility should be checked in advance. Installation involves 230 V mains power and should be completed by a qualified electrician.
