Description

Ajax Superior MotionCam PhOD is a professional wireless indoor motion detector with a built-in camera for visual alarm verification. When movement is detected while the system is armed, the detector can send a sequence of images through the Ajax system, allowing authorised users and monitoring professionals to assess what triggered the alarm without relying on motion data alone.

The PhOD feature set supports photographs by alarm, on demand, by scenario, by schedule and when the system is armed or disarmed, subject to the configured permissions and compatible hub firmware. Motion is detected at distances of up to 12 metres. When installed and configured correctly, the detector is designed to ignore pets, while infrared illumination supports image capture in dark or low-light rooms.

The detector uses Jeweller to send alarms and events and Wings to transmit images, with an open-space communication range of up to 1,700 metres. This model is intended for indoor use and includes tamper protection. Battery life can reach up to four years, depending on settings and use of photo-on-demand functions. Superior products should be specified, installed and maintained by an accredited Ajax partner.
