Reolink RP-PCB8M camera is a Professional Series bullet security camera designed for detailed monitoring of homes, shops, offices and commercial premises. It captures 8MP 4K resolution at up to 25 fps, a fixed 2.8 mm F1.6 lens and a wide 125-degree diagonal field of view. Its wide scene coverage makes it particularly useful for entrances, forecourts, gardens, loading areas and other locations where one camera needs to monitor a broad area.
The camera combines colour night vision from the built-in spotlight plus infrared coverage up to 30 metres. Intelligent analytics can distinguish people, vehicles and animals, while supported perimeter tools include line-crossing, zone-intrusion and zone-loitering alerts. AI-assisted video search and smart event functions depend on compatible software, firmware and recording equipment. Footage can be saved to a microSD card up to 512 GB, a compatible Reolink NVR or supported network storage, giving installers a choice between standalone recording and a centrally managed system.
This camera is supplied without a recorder, hard drive, microSD card or installation cable. PoE models require a compatible IEEE 802.3af/at PoE NVR, switch or injector and suitable Ethernet cabling; the Wi-Fi model still requires a local 12 V DC power supply and a reliable wireless network. Confirm NVR, VMS and third-party ONVIF feature compatibility before purchase because some advanced analytics require matching Reolink equipment. Professional installation is recommended for secure mounting, weatherproof cable termination, network configuration and correct camera positioning.
