Reolink RP-PN8 PoE NVR provides central recording, live viewing and management for a professional Reolink surveillance system. Eight integrated PoE camera ports simplify installation by carrying network data and power over one Ethernet cable to each compatible wired camera. The recorder supports video up to 16MP and can manage up to 12 compatible Reolink cameras in total, comprising up to eight wired cameras and four supported battery Wi-Fi cameras.
Continuous, scheduled and event-based recording options help protect homes, shops and business premises around the clock. Compatible cameras can add person, vehicle, animal and package detection, perimeter alerts, AI video search, smart event detection and heat-map functions. HDMI and VGA outputs support local monitoring, while the Reolink app, client and browser options provide authorised remote access. H.265 and H.264 compression help balance image quality and storage use.
This is the NHD version and no hard drive is included. A compatible surveillance HDD must be purchased and installed before local recording can begin. The recorder provides one internal SATA connection and one eSATA connection, supporting up to 32TB in total when suitable drives are used. Cameras, monitor, display cable beyond supplied accessories and installation cabling are sold separately. Check camera compatibility before purchase, as individual AI functions require support from both the recorder and connected camera.
