Eaton Scantronic DET-2R-SMOKE Radio Smoke Detector with Built-in Sounder, (Replaces DET-RSMOKE)

Description

The DET-2R-SMOKE is an optical radio smoke detector designed to work with Eaton’s range of radio and hybrid control panels. Providing a flexible solution to smoke detection, the DET-2R-SMOKE has its own built-in sounder for local alarms and can be programmed to trigger control panel sounders. Using Eaton’s proven leading radio technology the device is compatible with i-on, and all legacy 868 systems. Installers can utilise the full range of communications options across the panel ranges. Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR) products feature advanced two-way communication and true signal encryption, ensuring market leading cybersecurity comes as standard. Over-the-air updates keep devices future-proof and reduce labour time onsite, whilst shortened device response times improve battery life and ensure rapid event notification, minimising false alarms. The DET-RSMOKE is ideal for use in a range of premises but it is not designed to substitute EN54 Systems.
