Ajax LightCore 1-gang is the relay module at the heart of a single-circuit Ajax LightSwitch. Designed for indoor 230 V lighting, it replaces a conventional wall-switch mechanism and lets a connected light be operated by touch, from the Ajax app, or through automated scenarios when paired with a compatible Ajax hub. It works without a neutral wire and supports lighting loads from 5 W to 600 W, making it suitable for many domestic and small-commercial installations.
This product is the LightCore relay only; it is not a complete visible switch. To create one finished white switch, add an Ajax SoloButton 1-gang/2-way White, SKU 52146. A separate frame is not needed for a single device because the SoloButton provides the front panel. Without an Ajax hub, the assembled LightSwitch can still operate locally as a normal touch switch. App control, schedules, timers, remote operation and security scenarios require a compatible Ajax hub.
Installation involves mains voltage and should be completed by a qualified electrician using a suitable European-format 55 mm wall box. Lamp compatibility and any capacitor requirement should be checked against Ajax installation guidance before commissioning.
