Ajax LightCore 2-way is the relay module for controlling one lighting circuit from more than one switch position. It brings Ajax touch control to hallways, landings, staircases and larger rooms where the same light needs to be operated from two locations. The module is designed for indoor 230 V lighting, works without a neutral wire and supports connected loads from 5 W to 600 W.
This SKU contains one LightCore relay only. Each Ajax touch-control position also requires an Ajax SoloButton 1-gang/2-way White, SKU 52146. For two complete Ajax touch switches, order two LightCore 2-way modules and two SoloButtons. Ajax also documents configurations that retain a compatible conventional mechanical 2-way switch at the second position, so the final parts list depends on the wiring design. A hub is not needed for normal local touch operation, but app control, schedules, timers, scenarios and remote switching require a compatible Ajax hub.
Two-way mains wiring varies between properties. A qualified electrician should confirm the existing conductors, suitable European-format 55 mm wall boxes, lamp load and final topology before ordering or installation. Follow the current Ajax wiring diagrams and commissioning instructions.
