Ajax Smart LightSwitch Starter Kit gives a new Ajax customer the core equipment needed for one complete white smart light switch with app connectivity. The kit combines the LightCore 1-gang relay, matching SoloButton 1-gang/2-way front panel and Ajax Hub 2 4G White, removing the need to select the switch components and controller separately.
The LightSwitch is designed for indoor 230 V lighting, works without a neutral wire and supports loads from 5 W to 600 W. It remains usable locally by touch, while Hub 2 4G connects it to the Ajax app for remote switching, schedules, timers and automation scenarios. The hub can also form the foundation of a wider Ajax security system, allowing compatible detectors, sirens and automation devices to be added later. Internet connectivity, Ajax account setup and hub configuration are required for remote smart functions.
The kit includes the Ajax hardware for one single-circuit switch and its hub, but not electrical wiring, a wall box, network service or installation. No separate frame is required for the standalone switch. A qualified electrician must confirm lamp compatibility and fit the mains-powered LightCore in a suitable European-format 55 mm wall box.
